Greetings from Tucson, AZ. We are on the road
visiting family, friends and two churches this weekend. Here are a few
updates and prayer requests.
Thanks
1. The New Tocumen church in Panma has been given
an extension on the time to raise funds for the building. God is working
and they are getting close to having the funds to buy the building.
2. The International Conference was incredible. We
are thankful for God's protection and care of those who came. Two groups
had some difficulty getting home but they have all arrived safely. We
are part of an incredible group of people serving God around the world.
3. Perry's book,
Anchors and Actions: Principles
that Define how and why we do Missions is hot off the press. If you would like a copy
send a check for $15 to 12848 Able St NE, Blaine, MN. We will get one in
the mail back to you. It will also be available in bookstores sometime
in March. Pray that God will use this book to challenge people to be
more aware of and involved in missions.
4. Thanks to the Indiana South team for their help
in moving Heitor Herrera and his family to the Calobre church in Panama.
He has now begun his work as the pastor of this church. They were also
able to install bathrooms at the church. Great job. Pray for pastor
Heitor and his family as they get settled in.
Requests.
1. Nancy had a scan last week that revealed the
spot on her liver had grown a little. The doctor would like to do
another biopsy. Please keep her in your prayers and that the biopsy
would be normal and that the doctor can discover what is happening.
